Kent W. Minton practices in the areas of trust litigation, probate litigation, contested trusts and estate, probate administration and elder law, guardianships, estate planning, real estate litigation and civil litigation. Kent received his Bachelor of Science degree from Central Missouri State University in 1976, studied at the University of Tulsa, and received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City in 1982, where he was a member of Phi Delta Phi. He was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 1982.
Kent is the author of Contested Claims, Chapter 19, Missouri Estate Administration, Fourth Edition. He is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (Probate and Estate Planning Committee), and the Missouri Bar (Probate Committee; Elder Law Committee; Revision of Missouri Trust Law Subcommittee; Guardianship Subcommittee).
